Hugh was the coordinator of the Fish and Wildlife program at Sir Sandford Fleming College for eight years and has just finished a three-year term as the Executive Director of the North American Wildlife Technology Association.

He teaches “Environmental Sampling and Analysis”, “Statistics” and “Aquatic Studies” at Fleming. Hugh is an avid fisherman and canoeist and has written articles for the Kawartha Fisheries Association News. He was a campsite ranger in Algonquin Park for two summers in the late sixties |
| Hugh lives in Lindsay, Ontario, with his wife Susan and his son, Jeremy. His daughter, Cassandra, is attending university in Halifax.. |
