All Day PONY RIDES - Low Island. 

12:45 pm to 8:00 pm VOLUNTARY TOLL - The Lions Club and the OCF will be conducting a voluntary toll at the Swing Bridge. Please support ourventure! 

5:00 pm to 7:00 pm LEGION BBQ - 6oz steak, baked potatoes, veggiesand roll. $12/plate. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 177. 

6:00 pm • MIXED SLO-PITCH TOURNAMENT - Low Island ball fields. Space for only 16 teams. Entry fee $250 per team. Many prizes includingcash prizes, shirts, etc. Contact Steve Nunn 368-1508 or Bruce Burnett 368-3163 

6:30 pm to 9:00 pm • LIVE MUSIC  - Downtown at the bandshell. Courtesy of the Little Current Lions Club. 

7:00 pm • OPENING CEREMONIES - At the bandshell - ignitaries,Lions, and Mayor Jim Stringer. 

8:00 pm to Midnight • TEEN DANCE WITH MUCHMUSIC - Ages 13 to 18. Recreation Centre, Main Ice Surface. This is the only teen dance allweekend. Doors open at 8 pm and close at 10:30 pm. Any local teens requiring later admission please contact Bruce Burnett 368-3163. Admission $10.00 per person.

All Day PONY RIDES - Low Island. 

All Day ALEX’S LEMONADE STAND - Downtown. Help fight childhoodcancer one cup at a time! Proceeds to the Canadian Cancer Society. 

8:00 am • HAWEATER 5K CLASSIC RUN - Registration 8:00 - 8:45 am at Low Island. 9:00 am start. Four Categories: Ages 19 and Under, Ages 20 - 29, Ages 30 - 39, Ages 40 and up, Male/Female. Entry Fee: $10. Contact Kristin Farquhar 368-0694. 

9:00 am • MIXED SLO-PITCH - Low Island. Beer Garden, food, and more! 

9:00 am to Noon NEMI FARMERS’ MARKET - Downtown, BMO garage.

10:00 am to 1:00 pm •  ANNUAL FAMILY DAY BBQ ANDSILENT AUCTION - Manitoulin Centennial Manor in Little Current. Under the tent for your comfort. Silent Auction and BBQ. Join us at our gazebo! 

TBA • YOUTH CO-ED SOCCER TOURNAMENT - Low Island. Two divisions: Gr. 2 - 4, Gr. 5 - 7. (as of 2007/08 school year). Teams must include 6 boys and 5 girls (or vice versa). $10/player. To register call Lori Green 368-1788. Supported by the Manitoulin Panthers.

11:00 am • MANITOULIN ARTS & CRAFTS GUILD - andcrafted products and services. Curling Club Ice Surface. Contact Linda Burnett 368-3010. 

11:00 am to 11:00 pm DOWNTOWN LITTLE CURRENT

ACTIVITIES - Vendors, Merchants’ Sidewalk Sale, Food, and lots to see!

2:00 pm • FIREFIGHTERS COMMUNITY PICNIC - At the Firehall. 

2:00 pm • KIDS GAMES AND ACTIVITIES - Low Island. Sponsored by the Children’s Aid Society and the Little Current Lions Club. 

7:00 pm to 11:00 pm • STREET DANCE AND ENTERTAINMENT:

MUSIC FEATURING MUCHMUSIC! - Popcorn, glowsticks, pop, coffee, cotton candy, pizza, hotdogs, hamburgers, sausages, corn on the cob, and more! The street will be blocked off. Featuring Bouncy Land amusement rides, food court. Come and join the many attractions and the family fun. 

AT DUSK • PARADE OF LIGHTS - On the Channel. See the boats decked out in their colourful lights. A special event. Contact Greg Wright 368-2825 or Pat Boyle 368-2239. 

AT DUSK • MAMMOTH FIREWORKS DISPLAY - Start time depending on weather downtown. Watch for a spectacular grand finale. LC Lions Club members will be accepting donations towards next year’s fireworks.
