Northern Ontario's Largest Private Collection

40 Prewar tractors featuring mostly Massey Harris, old gas engines, horse drawn equipment, small farm artifacts and power machinery from 1880 through 1951.

Open Monday through Saturday till 4:00 and when I'm home.

When you come to Mindemoya, be sure to drop in. There are seven buildings to go through. I guess you could say I have a passion for wheels and gears and grease, and I hope it shows in the way I have cared for and refurbished all the artifacts. I have a great admiration for the old timers who built and used these machines, and I dedicate my collection to their memory.

There is a charge of five bucks and two for kids and students to go through the museum and take pictures and spend all the time they want. This helps me buy the paint! If there are ladies in the party who are not interested in machinery, they are invited into Hawberry Habit, a little store run by my wife and sister-in-law in our farm house. They make everything in the store and they are chock full of Island hospitality. I think they drink more tea than work!
