McQuay Click & Clay - selling scenic Manitoulin Island Pottery and Photography

What's new at McQuay click & clay

Welcome to McQuay Click & Clay!

The Markets are still on! We are at three Markets now, with our portable wheel, so that anyone can make their own pottery item: Tuesdays at Little Current, Fridays at Gore Bay and Saturdays at Mindemoya. These markets are 9 am to 1 pm, and run until the October Thanksgiving Weekend.

Our potter's wheel has become a very popular activity. This year over 150 people of all ages have tried it out so far, and everyone made something, either a bowl or a vase or in some cases a plate. You make the item (it takes 15 - 20 minutes), then we fire it, glaze it and fire it again, all for only $16 (plus delivery charge if delivery is not on Manitoulin). Of course, instruction is also available at the McQuay Click & Clay studio in Mindemoya.
