Field House:

In 1994 the board of Directors recognized the fact that we had several individuals who did not require the level of support provided in Hope Farm Residence but who required a greater level of support than we were able to offer in our Independent Living Program. A stepping stone was missing and the board undertook to fill the gap by purchasing a five bedroom home just west of Hope Farm. . The home was named Field House in honour of a very dedicated board member Dorothy Field.

In 1998 the garage was made into a large family room, and the room was dedicating in memory of Marion Arrowsmith. Marion and her husband Bill Arrowsmith had started a volunteer group called W.I.S.H (Working In Support of the Handicapped) to raise funds for developmentally handicapped individuals on Manitoulin. W.I.S.H.donated the funds for the renovation.
.
Initially the individuals living in Field House received five hours of staff support each day, however, over the years their needs have changed and we have increased the hours of support to seven hours per day
