The countryside surrounding Lake Manitou has stunning views of escarpments, valleys, forests and rustic farms. We are nestled among mature trees with a view of Lake Manitou and the Cup and Saucer escarpment. The lodge overlooks the lake's ever-changing moods and spectacular sunsets.

Fishing is good in numerous inland lakes and Lake Huron, and fisherman can't wait to try their luck for Manitou's Lake Trout, Bass, Perch, Pike or Whitefish.

Boats, motors, gas, and bait (minnows on request) are all available at Red Lodge.

Nearby, Sheguiandah Bay is famous for its spring Splake runs, while several other bays, Michael's Bay, Providence Bay, Gore Bay and Meldrum Bay teem with Salmon.
