This piece, measuring approximately 2' x 3', was created by the group as a present from Mindemoya United Church to Shizuoka Eiwa School in Japan. The Minister, Rev. Mary Jo Tracy, had been invited to present the English language prize there.

The design shows the shape of the Island, also known as Rainbow Country, with a sprig of hawberry at the top. The trilliums for Ontario, the maple leaves for the country and the fish symbol of Christianity were placed on a blue background representing the water, which surrounds us.
